RaNell, I have a lot of FUN memories with you...the concert, St. Luke's Women's Walk, Murder Mystery parties...You're a fun friend!! But, something I will never forget was my birthday a few years back. It fell on a Sunday and Jason had to work. I was pregnant and I remember it wasn't a very "fun" day and you invited me over for dinner to keep me company and so I wouldn't have to cook. It made my day special...THANKS:)
Since you already used the one where you made me cry on my blog I will come up with something else but yeah, that has to be my favorite. :-)
I just loved this past volleyball season and seeing you waddle around, about to pop out your 5th child and aching to play! I can't wait until this next season so we can play together... of course we do that every Wed but still, it will be fun. :-)
I'm gonna have to go with our recent Shari's adventure! Greasy food, yummy desserts and staying out WAY past bedtime. Does it get any better than that?
Hmmm...I would have to say that it is the first time that we actually met. You and Seth were sitting on the couch waiting to meet with the bishop and we were there waiting too. You were SO pregnant with Porter. Maybe that is why it stays with me. I just remember how nice and fun you both were and later finding out about all the common interests we shared (kayaking, volleyball, TOTAL rivals). Just makes me miss you guys!
I'm going with the first time we met too. All though you weren't pregnant as you and Seth had just gotten engaged and Seth was bringing you home to meet the fam. You were so cute and nervous! I'm not sure what you thought we would say. Afterall, Seth loves you and inspite of him being my sometimes annoying little brother, I must say he has pretty good taste, lol.
I remember all those times that I would come over and visit teach you....back when I was a good visiting teacher! Sorry I didn't come and see you this month! I promise next month will be better!
I remember when we lived across the hall from you at the Village and you called me on your phone because Porter accidentally locked you in his bedroom and you couldn't get out. I had to go and get the apartment manager to let you out who you didn't get along with at the time. It was pretty funny.
I remember spending the night at your house, sleeping outside and counting the "shooting stars" we could see. I also remember you spending the night at my house and sleeping out on the trampoline or sitting out in the field by my house.
I have so many memories, but my favorites are the campouts and playing games until late hours of the night. You've introduced us to many great games: Carcasonne, Cranium, Killer Bunnies (my kids' favorite), Bocce (Wade went and bought a set when we got back) etc. etc. And the newest one was great too (Ticket to Ride). I have to admit it was very fun to watch my brother sweat. :)
