10 Years And 5 Kids Later

I cannot believe it's been 10 years! But it has been 10 AMAZING years! We got married and waited a whole 4 months before starting our family. I almost don't remember what it was like without our kids. We sacrificed time for us in the beginning of our marriage so that we will still be young and have time for us in our golden years. I look forward for the time we can spend with each other doing what we want. We want to serve a mission together, travel together, and live together.

I have to say that I married the "perfect" person for me. He is not perfect but neither am I. We grow together in our differences. It always seems that when one of us is down, the other is there to lift them up, cheer them on, and wipe away tears. We have been through hard times together and happy times together. He completes me.

Seth is such a great help to me. He has no problems with cooking dinner when I have had a bad day, or I'm too sick or tired (or pregnant) to do it. He helps clean up around the house, he will jump in and do laundry. He will readily fold and put away the clothes (I hate doing that). He loves to play with the kids. He rubs my feet when I have a headache, my back when it aches, and holds me when I cry. He is the best husband I could have ever imagined.

Here are some of the accomplishments we have had in the last 10 years:

1. Five beautiful, fun, wonderful children. Porter, Kyah, Naomi, Mitchell, & Ella
2. Lived in 1 house, 4 apartments, 2 states (Idaho & Colorado), 3 cities (Rexburg, Denver, Boise)
3. Been in 7 LDS Wards and 6 LDS Stakes
4. Had 10 jobs (I only contributed to 2 of those jobs until I stayed home after having kids).
5. Had 5 vehicles.
6. Lost 2 parents and 3 grandparents.
7. Made hundreds of friends.
8. Had 1 Bachelor's Degree and 2 Associate Degrees.
9. Have taken 1 trip just the two of us (besides our honeymoon).
10. But the biggest thing we have done is made millions of memories. All of which I wouldn't trade for the world.

I love you Seth, more than I can describe. You mean the world to me. I am so happy to call you my husband. I will do what I can to make you happy the next 10, 20, 70 years. I will love you for eternity. Thanks for the last 10 awesome years of my life.
