"Insert some catching phrase here"

I had to record a scene that just played before me.  I am always bad about remembering the funny things Mitchell  (or any of my kids for that matter) says or does.  But this is what happened.

Mitchell had gone poop in the potty (something we are still trying to master).  I had told him he could go get a piece of candy for his reward.  He quickly ran into the kitchen to get out a candy.  When he returned he sat down and carefully opened the snickers bar and as he did so said "Ooooo".  Ella, who was playing with toys on the floor had been watching him, unbenounced to him.  When he made that sound she laughed at him so he turned around, away from Ella, and then faced her and said it again.  Again she laughed.  He did it a couple more times and each time she laughed.  Then one time she didn't find it that funny anymore.  He looked at me and said "Mom, it doden't make her yaf her head."  Then before I could reply Michell was off doing something else.

He loves his baby sister, sometimes too much.  But just now Ella was kind of upset because she was standing up and then fell to her bottom.  Michell came down stairs and said

Mitch: "Mom is she mad?
Mom: "Yes, she fell down a little"
Mitch: Crouched down in front of her, "Ella, are you mad?"  Are you mad, Ella?  Ella?

By the time he was done talking to her, she wasn't crying or wining any more.  Now he is just trying to show her his "fighter fighter truck".  What a silly boy.

Very cute. I also do not record enough of what my kids say and do. I need to be better about that.;)

"Yaf her head" now that's one of those expressions that I think needs to last, lol.

Years from now you can respond to things with it, "What? Doesn't that make you yaf yer head?"

What a cutie!

Oh and I have to say that for so long Seth was behind in the passing the gene pool down to his kids category, but he seems to be catching up a little with these last two, lol. That picture of Mitchell looks so much like him as a little boy.
